Transaction data is retained indefinitely for ongoing financial tracking purposes. This includes transaction amounts, dates, merchant names, and categories.
Account balance snapshots are retained indefinitely to support historical analysis and net worth tracking over time.
Plaid access tokens are encrypted and stored only while a bank account is actively linked. When you unlink a bank account, the associated Plaid tokens are immediately removed.
When you delete your account, all data is permanently deleted through cascading deletes. This includes transactions, balances, account information, Plaid tokens, and any other associated records. This action is irreversible.
Sync event logs are retained for 90 days for debugging and troubleshooting purposes. After 90 days, these logs are automatically purged.
No data is backed up to third-party services. All data resides exclusively on your own server infrastructure.
